Sintering technique of colored glass or fusing has opened a new page in the history of stained glass. Stained glass, free from the metal broaches, fits well into modern interiors. Sintered glass is created in special furnaces at temperatures above 800 degrees Celsius. Cut pieces of colored, dyed, glass are stacked and placed in the furnace, where sintering process happens. Thus, fusing gives the texture and volume of material in addition to color. Sintered glass can have any shape and thickness, and the products from it are amazingly beautiful. Several layers of glass, high quality, special glaze and furnace for sintering are used in manufacturing products from glass fusing. Such glass elements can be pasted up on a mirror, window, glass furniture and other front surface. Fusing gives an artistic flavor to the product and it will highlight in your interior.
