Figure glass usually has sharp relief pattern on the or the both of it’s surfaces and can be either colourless or colour. The colour ones are made by adding dye into liquid glass or by applying coloured oxide metal covering on the one of the surfaces.

Figure glass is decorative material. Outside or inside stained-glass windows, screens and partitions made of it look great. But it’s not a good idea to enclose rooms for private conversations with figure glass – unfortunately, it don’t protect from eavesdropping.

Colour and pattern of the glass surface have to meet the approved standards. Depth of the relief lines – from 0,5 to 1,5 mm. Figure glass also has to be transparent and light diffusing. Transmittance factor of the colourless version lighted by the scattered light must be not less than 0.75 if the patterns are printed on only one side and 0,7, if the patterns on both sides. Transmittance factor of the colourl version depends on colour and pattern of the glass and usually it’s about 30-65%.
